On 9 September 2015 His Holiness Vishwaguru Swami Maheshwaranandaji inaugurated the Sri Devpuriji Ashram, the second yoga center in Maribor, Slovenia, by lighting the altar candle on behalf of the OM Sri Alakhpuriji Siddhapeeth Parampara. 

Vishwaguruji met with His Excellency Ambassador of India Mr. Sarvajit Chakravarti, and was warmly welcomed by the Mayor of Maribor, Dr. Andrej Fištravec. Members of Yoga in Daily Life were also very happy to welcome the rector of the University of Primorska, Dr. Dragan Marušič; ambassador of SMWPC Dr. Igor Lukšič; professor Dr. Arun Prakash Mishra; the high representative of the Slovene Federation of Pensioners’ Associations, Mr. Andrej Jus and other respected guests.

After the opening ceremony the satsang continued in Swami Madhavananda Ashram in Maribor, where we were immersed in the infinite light of Vishwaguruji’s love and wisdom.
